Why Mom's Should Hire a Personal Trainer

We all think that we can do it on our own. We will start on Monday. But we forget that we are pulled in a thousand directions by obligations to children, husbands, school, volunteer organizations, friends, clubs, etc. When we are pulled in many directions, the first thing we do as Moms is to get rid of the activity that we do for ourselves to stay healthy and fit so that we have the energy to keep being the Super Mom, Daughter, Friend, and Volunteer that we are.

By having a personal trainer, you will have pre-arranged appointments that you have to show up for or you will be charged. This is motivation #1. You don't want to lose that investment.

By having a personal trainer, you will accomplish more in less time. The 2 hours that you spend in the gym can become 30 to 45 minutes.

By having a personal trainer, you will also have an ally - someone that you can talk to, share your problems with, bounce ideas off, and then feel better afterwards because you got it off of your chest and at the same time, feel better about yourself because you worked out in the process.

As a personal trainer and Mom myself, I know how hard it is to find the time to workout. This is why I schedule myself to teach classes at 6 am. I have to be there as my job depends on it and my clients are depending on me. If I did not have this obligation, I would find an excuse as to why I need to sleep in. I feel better about myself afterwards and have the energy to get through my day that seems to never stop with taking care of others.

There are all sorts of ways that you can work with a trainer to fit your budget and lifestyle. The most imporant thing is to take the first step and reach out to the trainer that was recommened to you. If they are a well skilled professional, they will help you figure out the next step from there. Most trainers will allow you a complimentary visit to see what it is all about.

Take that first step and call or e-mail.
